Hi, that’s me. Avisek Das. This is where I’m supposed to say something meaningful and profound about myself and all of the amazing things i do with Nature and Wildlife Photography.  Nature is not a place to visit , It’s my home and i use it to tell a story. My story. Your story. Everyone’s story. 😀

It’s been long time i am into photography, back in 1998. I bought my first Film SLR Pentax after visiting a place called Tiger Hill. I was in class eight. I went to Darjeeling with family in summer vacations. I was amazed to see the beauty and serenity of mountains but couldn’t capture its beauty since i had no proper gear to photograph it.  😥  I was sad and actually very sad.  😥  Decided to do something on it. My father promised me to buy a good SLR camera when back home and i got it. Journey started.  😎  I used to click different aspects of photography and would like to experiment different themes. But after completion of graduation I stared travelling different places by my own and got influenced by the beauty of nature. And gradually I have fallen in love with nature  😛  and subsequently wildlife.  🙄   It’s my passion. You may call it a serious one. Whatever, everything I have learnt by my own experimenting it every day. No school of photography, no perfect guidance in personal but yeah I did it with the help of internet. It’s a perfect tool for learning and sharing . Anyway , by profession I am not a photographer. I am a chartered accountant working in a FMCG company. 🙄

Just to conclude, I am into this photography not for any commercial purpose; neither I want to sell my photographs to earn money. Neither I am interested to do commercial photography. I am a pure nature lover and want to live my rest of the life like this way …… nature is not a place to visit, it’s my home. It’s my story. 😉

Hope you will like my website and blog. Thanks for your time and patience. 😀  🙄  😉
